Noon - Lariat Steakhouse - Golden Guard Luncheon (alumni with 50+ years of membership).
For this event, GUAC would like the chapter to comb through the
materials in the attic to find items from 1960 or earlier, clean and
repair them, and deliver them to the Lariat for the luncheon. At this
luncheon, we are hoping to sell some of these items to the highest
bidder and/or donate them to the special collections in the Cullom-Davis
Library (which is a better environment than the attic of the chapter
house).
Saturday, October 16
11 AM - Chapter House - Alumni leadership meeting with new members.
We introduce ourselves and answer their questions.
1 PM - Chapter House - Chapter Advisory Board meeting
Meet your alumni advisors; update on chapter "probationary" efforts.
3 PM - Chapter House - Alumni Corporation meeting (open to initiates only - Ritual business)
Meet your alumni board and observe our annual meeting.
6 PM - Chapter House - dinner catered by One World
Open to initiates, new members and their guests, but not recruits,
as alcohol will be present. For this event, GUAC would like the chapter
to find more recent items in the attic, clean and repair them, and
display them around the chapter house, with silent auction sheets. The
silent auction will continue after dinner and into the
alumni-undergraduate mixer |
